PEOPLE who are fond of writing poetry can have their work recognised at an event being held at Exmouth Library.
A poetry evening takes place at the library, in Exeter Road, on Tuesday, October 8.
The readings start at 7.30pm. Admission is priced 2 for both members of the audience and performers. Each person is allocated four minutes to read their work.
A spokesperson for Devon libraries said it was a great opportunity for people to go and read their own work to an appreciative audience in an informal setting.
For more information, call Anne McInnes on 01395 278110.
The event is being held as part of National Poetry Day.
