THIRTEEN plucky Exmouth women who bared all to raise funds for children with sight problems, have raised £6,800 for pupils at the West of England blind school.

Exzmouth Journal chief reporter Becca Gliddon was among the group and agreed to take her clothes off, pose with her horse, Shadow, and be photographed for a naked calendar.

The idea was dreamed up by Exmouth Animal Dispensary manager Pat Wilkins, whose granddaughter Ruby is a pupil at the West of England School and College for Children with Little or No Sight, in Exeter.

Pat, who was Miss January, hoped to raise £7,000 for equipment to benefit the school.

Calendars sold like hot cakes throughout Exmouth - many ending up abroad.

Becca Gliddon, 38, said: "I was honoured to have been asked - but never again!
