'Plantaholics' invited on garden outings

EXMOUTH Garden Club is inviting plant lovers' on a series of garden visits this summer.
From June 9 through to September 3 the club will be visiting gardens at Kenn, Rosemoor, Hestercombe, and the Garden House and Wildside Garden at Buckland Monachorum.
Pat Attard, the club's events organiser, said that the South West is full of 'amazing' gardens - and now was the best time to start exploring.
She added: "We are a friendly and informal group, so no previous experience is needed.

"Entry to gardens as a group is often less expensive than going it alone, and there is the added bonus of sharing the day with other plant lovers.
"Serious plantaholics and lazy wanderers will all find something to please, especially the cream teas at the end!"

The club are also hosting a programme of speakers over the rest of the year, and occasional visitors are always very welcome for individual events.
