AN application to fell four sycamore trees, one birch tree and two holm oaks at Summerlands, in Cricket Field Lane, has won the support of the town council.
Budleigh Salterton councillors said they agreed with the district council tree officer's recommendation, that the trees would affect the neighbouring property if they were not removed.
The tree officer also recommended replanting on the site.
East Devon District Council development control committee will have the final say over the plans.
