PLANS to build a detached home on land next to 10 Little Knowle have failed to win the support of the Budleigh Salterton Town Council.
The members quoted district council planning officers' objections when coming to their decision.
The council raised issues over site drainage and highway safety, adding the application was an overdevelopment of the site, and would affect and overlook neighbouring properties.
The plans will go before the district council where a decision will be made.
