AN application to construct a replace building, incorporating a conservatory, failed to receive the support of Woodbury Parish Council.

The amended plans, further to a previous application for plot 1, Little Field, Parsonage Way, were objected at a planning meeting held in the Village Hall on Monday, June 22.

The council said: "The absence of external dimensions of the summerhouses and any detailed drawings rendered councillors unable to consider this application in a proper manner.

"The parish council, therefore, objects on the grounds of insufficient detail."

The application will be passed to East Devon District Council for a final decision.
