The two side spans of the pedestrian and cycle bridge over the M5 at Redhayes were successfully lifted into place over the weekend, completing lift operations.
The south bound and northbound carriage ways of the M5 have now reopened.
The crossing is a key part of the new infrastructure being provided by Devon County Council to enable economic development in the area to the east of Exeter.
