Budleigh Salterton has enjoyed Gala Week with the town a hub of activity and celebration.
Hundreds turned out for Saturday’s launch of the popular annual event, which traditionally starts with the Budleigh Big Breakfast, in the Public Hall, in aid of Cancer Research UK.
This year’s celebrations were officially opened by Journal reporter Becca Gliddon, who thanked the town’s Lions Club and the Gala Week coordinator, Lion Geoff Paver, for their hard work.
