Archant

The countdown has begun... to the exciting launch of your brand-new Exmouth and Budleigh Journal.

From next week, for the first time ever, we will be delivering our 160-year-old newspaper title through the doors of more than 25,000 homes each week in Exmouth and its surrounding areas.

This means that it will be easier than ever to access quality and exclusive local news, features, opinion, sport and entertainment in your area.

What’s more, the newspaper will be published a day earlier on a Wednesday, and also increase in size to give you a bigger and better read.

As ever, the focus will be firmly on high-quality journalism that celebrates and reflects the needs of people in our communities, while holding local authorities and organisations to account.

We pride ourselves on being in the heart of the community and will continue to do so, supporting and covering local events and celebrations.

Further to this, watch out for some great reader offers and competitions, including chances to win cash by simply matching your postcode and answering a question about the local area.

There will also be a chance to reduce your energy bills and, in future weeks, show how proud you are of our great area by participating in our car sticker campaign.

From July 11, the Journal will be distributed widely – including in Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Lympstone, Woodbury, Topsham and Ebford.

And if you don’t receive a free copy, you will still be able to purchase the paper from your local store.

So stand by for a new era for this much-loved newspaper which has touched the lives of generations of people in one of the most coveted areas of East Devon.
