East Devon photographers are being asked to put up their best images of nature to be published in a calendar.

East Devon District Council’s (EDDC) countryside team has launched a competition, aiming to fill its 2018 calendar with the best photographs of the district’s countryside for its 2018 calendar.

Entries can be sent to the countryside team between now and August 31, and the subject matter can be as varied as entrants wish, including landscapes, wild flowers and wildlife.

Entries should be emailed to countryside@eastdevon.gov.uk.

All entries must include a name, address, age if under 18, and a caption which states where the photo was taken.

Images must be high resolution, at least 1MB.

Entries will be judged by EDDC chief executive Mark Williams, Councillor Tom Wright, and photographer Matt Willson.

The final calendar will be available to buy online, at the council offices and from Seaton Wetlands.
