MORE than 50,000 people in Devon could benefit from BT's new subsidised telephone service, which will help lower income families cope with rising household bills.

MORE than 50,000 people in Devon could benefit from BT's new subsidised telephone service, which will help lower income families cope with rising household bills.

BT Basic offers line rental for £4.50 a month for people who receive Income Support, income-based Job Seekers Allowance or Guaranteed Pensions Credit.
