PUPILS at St Peters Prep had familiar visitors attending their school recently.
The Lympstone-based school invited their grandparents for the afternoon who brought memories and keepsakes from their own childhood with them, to share with everyone.
The children, aged from three to seven-years-old, then put on a presentation in the Wessex Hall, with songs, raps and readings.
The nursery children had painted portraits of their grandparents and the reception class read out a tribute to theirs.
Year one children sang a 'Super Gran' song and year two pupils wrote their own poems, about what their grandparents mean to them.
The afternoon finished with a cream tea in the dining hall and everyone agreed it was a great success.
