Exmouth residents who save for their retirement will be rewarded by new coalition policies that could save them ‘thousands’.

East Devon MP Hugo Swire says that ‘radical’ reforms to pension charges, announced this week, are designed to help people who have worked hard and do the right thing by saving for their retirement.

Financial Secretary to the Treasury Sajid Javid announced that the Government will introduce a cap on pension charges which could save people thousands of pounds.

Mr Swire said: “This is great news for hardworking people in East Devon who are doing the right thing and saving for retirement. It will help ensure they get the value for money from their pension.”
