This is a copy of a letter I have sent to Graham Bailey, Resource Manager, Stagecoach Devon:"I write in connection with the revised 57 bus service timetable and route change and note from the Exmouth Journal you state a 'thorough review of the service in Exmouth was undertaken in consultation with Devon County Council'. "I cannot see how this can be, as there is now a good half-hour between buses or two together, although your new timetable shows a 15-minute bus service during peak times. Also, because the single-decker bus is being used more and more, they are overcrowded and most uncomfortable to travel on, especially all the way from Exmouth to Exeter."I suggest that a 'thorough review' might be made by actually travelling the route between Exmouth and Exeter, which now takes over one hour from Salterton Road. Did you take into consideration the route change would add additional time as well as leaving some passengers totally stranded?"Mrs C Carpenter,Flat 2, 7 Sarlsdown Road, Exmouth.
