Revellers from Woodbury Salterton had a day to remember at the village’s second annual street party.
The centre of the village was closed to traffic for the event, which saw villagers sit down to dine at open air tables.
The day also featured a flower festival and raffle, before late night festivities at the Diggers Rest pub, which went on well into the small hours.
Organisers believe around 250 people attended, raising around 800 for Woodbury Salterton projects, including the church, village hall and Woodbury Salterton 2000.
Party organiser Jackie Jacobs said: “It was really good. The weather held off, mostly, and we had lots of dressing up.
“I think, because people now understand the event, they really went for it in terms of engaging with the spirit of the whole thing.”
