The owners of an Exmouth café and restaurant have thrown a big party to thank their customers for their support.

Alan and Jacquie Haywood have been at Franklins in The Strand for a decade.

They threw the free birthday bash to mark the 10-year milestone.

During the day there was face painting, popcorn, balloon modelling, quizzes and raffles.

In the evening there were photo booths, a casino, hot dogs and live music.

Jacquie told the Journal: “It was to thank our customers for being so loyal and so supportive over the ten years.

“We had gifts and cards and good wishes from everybody.

“It was a very good day.”
