PARAMEDICS treated an elderly motorist after she was involved in a crash in Exmouth.

Fire crews, the police and ambulance staff attended the incident which happened at around 9am last Sunday, January 16, at the junction of Withycombe Village Road and Bradham Lane.

It is understood a vehicle careered off the road and hit a fence.

A spokesperson for the fire authority said: “One elderly female was free and clear of the vehicle and treated by ambulance crews on scene.

“Fire crews made the vehicle safe and left the incident in the hands of police and ambulance.”
