Young Exmouth photographer Felix Northover, captured the dramatic image while out with his mum Jane, on Wotton Lane, Friday, March 2.

The pair discovered the car while driving back from helping people out of the snow, with the aid of Jane’s 4X4.

They found other abandoned cars at the bottom of Woodbury, heading towards Budleigh Salterton.

Felix said: “We revisited the area after helping people out the previous day, when the snow was stopping people from getting home.

“Many people had no option but to leave their cars and walk back home – we helped a couple that had a four-mile walk back in the freezing conditions.”
