Dust off your antlers for Otterton’s reindeer run

The annual Otterton Reindeer Run returns to the Otter Valley on Saturday, December 2, raising money for Otterton Primary School.

Otterton’s famous Reindeer Run which will take place on Saturday, December 2.

The event consists of a three-kilometre fun run and a 10-kilometre multi terrain run through the Otter valley.

Both runs start at 10am at St Michael’s Church Otterton. The event which usually attracts around 400 runners, many in fancy dress, raises money for Otterton Primary School and is supported by several local businesses.

Registration for the event is available on the day in the church and opens at 8.30am closing at 9.30am.

On the day entry costs £13 for the 10k and £5 for the 3k.Those who take part in the 10k event are treated to mulled wine afterwards and will receive a commemorative mug.

Those who tackle the 3k will earn themselves some reindeer antlers.

Marshalls are also needed for the route.
