OTTERTON Primary School pupils learned the art of bread making as part of a food study.
The youngsters were shown how bread is made, from the grain to the finished loaf, and given the opportunity to try their hand at kneading, by Ian Shears, from Topsham.
Mr Shears took along his mobile wood-fired bread oven as part of a project called the Year of Food and Farming.
He and his wife, Lyndsay, recently were named local winners in a farm-to-classroom award.
