OTTERTON residents have appealed for extra grit bins throughout the village following the recent cold snap and snowy conditions.
Otterton Parish Council has contacted Devon County Council's Highways department asking the department to consider placing extra bins on some of the village's steeper hills.
The council said grit bins were needed on Church Hill below the war memorial, Maunders Hill at the junction with Park Lane, Ropers Lane, below the old vicarage, and Stantyway Lane, between Stantyway Farm and Behind Hayes.
