FOLLOWING an exhibition in Budleigh Salterton's Public Hall about East Devon's Local Development Framework, the Otter Valley Association (OVA) has welcomed the opportunity to give its views on the proposals and would like to encourage others to do likewise.
The issues include the retention of the farmland separating Budleigh Salterton from Knowle to prevent the merging of settlements and to protect wildlife, the provision of a footpath along West Hill Road to improve pedestrian safety, and a suggested future development,
An OVA spokesman said: "This is a public consultation exercise and is a great opportunity for everyone to contribute to the debate on the area's future.
"Budleigh Salterton seafront would benefit from a sensitive and locally distinctive enhancement scheme to increase its attractiveness."
