There have been comments lately about ‘zebra’ crossings and cyclists using the pavement.
I have the impression that some drivers consider stopping at ‘crossings’ as optional and some cyclists think they have the right to use the pavement and have priority over walkers.
Can the police please shine a light on these issues and can they find time to run a campaign to educate the public? Is cycling on the pavement against the law? When are vehicles obliged to stop at crossings?
