NAMBIAN professional boxer Daniel 'open fire' Kashela was guest of Lympstone Boxing Club this week and sparred six boxers in succession.
Club coach Dan Groves spent four months in Namibia in South West Africa visiting his father, and setting up a boxing tournament.
While there he befriended Daniel, a pro welterweight (10 stone 7 pounds) and invited the 27-year-old boxer to Exmouth to get some experience in England - his first visit outside of his country.
Daniel was put through his paces with boxers of different ages, weights and experience sparring a round-robin of two minute rounds.
Daniel, from Walvis Bay, has a record of 12-3-1 (8) and is looking for a big fight in 2010.
He said: "I like throwing the double jab and the left hook," he said. "I'm very aggressive.
"My next fight is in January, i'm looking forward to it."
He travels to London this week to train in Spencer Fearon's gym.
