Well, they have finally cut the grass in Dinan Way, but I am not sure which is worse - the before or the after. Before, the grass was two-foot high, but was at least green and swayed gently in the breeze. After, there is just a gently rotting brown mess where the tall grass has been cut and left.In St Briac Way is a verge. Originally, the builders planted it with shrubs, but the council apparently required them to remove these and put down grass before it could be taken over and maintained. So what happens? Usually the grass cutters forget it, but praise be this time they remembered it. So now in front of all our carefully maintained garden lawns there is the aforesaid brown mess. Nice eh? Well done councilGraham Seymour,7 St Briac Way, Exmouth.
