AN Exmouth author is to give a talk on how to plan and write a novel.Sylvia Murphy, author of Candy's Children, will be at Exmouth Library on Wednesday, September 3 at 3pm.Tickets for the talk are £3, to include refreshments, and can be bought in advance from the library or on the door.Exmouth library is closed on Wednesday afternoon so those attending the talk are asked to use the disabled entrance at the rear of the building.Devon county councillor Sheila Hobden said: "I know there are many budding novelists among our library users and talks like this always give valuable insight and inspiration."Sylvia Murphy's earlier novels include The Complete Knowledge of Sally Fry and The Life and Times of Barly Beach.
