Where have the morals gone? I was just in Exmouth s Phear Park, walking my dog, when I saw what appeared to be a gran (possibly the mother) helping a small boy to urinate on a tree.

Where have the morals gone? I was just in Exmouth's Phear Park, walking my dog, when I saw what appeared to be a gran (possibly the mother) helping a small boy to urinate on a tree.

This was done right beside the play area for the smallest children.

Am I the only one who sees a problem with this? 1. There are public loos there. 2. It was in plain sight of anyone - including young girls!

I certainly would not want to think of my daughter playing there and witnessing something like this. Not to mention what it's teaching the child for later in life. Not to mention that things like this spread diseases.

Bah, you may say, but think of this scenario. The child goes into the hospital for tubes in his ears, or perhaps a tonsillectomy. While there it becomes a carrier for MRSA. Then the child wees on the ground around the tree. An unsuspecting person sits there to have a picnic lunch and touches the ground as they lower themselves, then uses that hand to eat a sandwich.

Worse still, what if that child is now a target for a paedophile? Really, get a grip.
