REGARDING?the letter last week from Councillor Ray Franklin - "Procedures were followed".
I would like to thank Mr Franklin for his remarks regarding the development plans for the Oak Street site in Clarence Road.
If Mr Franklin had read my letter correctly, he would have seen that, yes, I did receive initial plans, which obviously I strongly rejected, and, yes, I did receive amended plans, to which again I objected.
But, unless my fellow neighbours and I are all suffering from premature dementia, I can assure Mr Franklin that no letter was received detailing the accepted proposal for five houses and a maisonette.
As a hard-working member of this community, I unfortunately do not have the time to trawl the internet looking for signs of amendments and changes to proposed plans, especially after receiving correspondence, stating the plans fellow residents, of Clarence Road, and I objected to had been rejected.
Mrs S Williams,
(via email).
