THREE men have appeared in court in connection with a burglary at a postmaster's home in Newton Poppleford.

Police confirmed the men had been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and aggravated burglary, following a raid on Tuesday, July 7.

Police said as a result of an investigation with the Hampshire force, Fazli Sadrui, 38, from Hounslow, Tony Marshall, 32, from Wembley and Fared Hajilou, also 32, from Wembley, had been remanded in custody by Hampshire magistrates on Saturday.

A third man, aged 22, from London had been released without charge on police bail.
