THE Exmouth Ceramic Group recently opened its new community pottery in Meeting Street.
Internationally-acclaimed potter Tim Andrews, from Woodbury, officially opened the new studio.
The group, which has 50 members, was forced to leave its previous workshop in 2008 and fears were raised over the future of the club - which has been running for 35 years.
After a long search, the group was offered the old garage and store rooms at Rethink, in Meeting Street.
The rooms needed a considerable amount of work to convert them into a pottery workshop.
The new studio is being run in partnership with the charity Rethink.
