COUNTY highways chiefs are planning to build new traffic calming measures just off Dinan Way in a bid to make it safer for children from two schools.
The plans call for three flat-top 'cushions' on St Johns Road, 20 metres to the south west of Hill Crest school, just north east of Cheshire Road.
An additional pairs of cushions are also planned 12 metres south of Bassett's Gardens near the entrance of Bassett's Farm School, also on St Johns Road.
Town planners will give their views on the scheme on Monday.
The public can view the scheme up to October 7 at Exmouth Library.
