Residents in East Budleigh could be set for improved mobile phone signal after an application was submitted for a new mast.
Vodafone has applied to site a 17.5-metre-high mast supporting three antennae and two dishes in the village.
There will also be two cabinets within the fenced compound area at the base of the mast, which will be on land at Wynards Farm in Middle Street.
In the planning support statement, Vodafone says that the site is close to the community and village centre and that it has been selected for its proximity to the target coverage area.
East Devon District Council will make a final decision on the application.
