Topsham charity Devon in Sight has a new man running its services.
Grahame Flynn, a Topsham resident, has been appointed as the charity’s operations manager, after the departure of former director of services Martin Pallett.
Graham was a police detective in Exeter for a number of years, before entering the voluntary sector specialising in the field of HIV and sexual health.
He said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed to help lead Devon in Sight into the future. I’m very much looking forward to meeting members of the charity, our supporters, professional partners and visitors to [Devon in Sight headquarters] Station House.”
Graham says he will be looking to build on the charity’s relationship with hospitals and GPs, and the business community.
Chairman of the charity’s trustees, Gwyn Dickinson MBE, said: “We are delighted to have Grahame in post. He has the experience and attributes we need and has many very good ideas.”
