SUPPORT for a new house at Knowle Village, was not given by town planners because of overdevelopment.
The owners of Cornerways applied to build anew dwelling on the site, but town planners on Monday said the house would be 'too big' for the plot.
They added it would be 'out of keeping' with the area, it was 'overdevelopment' and would have a detrimental affect on the adjoining St John's Chapel.
The plans will now be considered buy district planners.
