The latest addition to Exmouth's growing food scene, The Point Bar & Grill, is celebrating this week with two major announcements.With a prime location overlooking the marina, The Point has a new head chef, Kieran Duncan, and will be staging a series of top flight Friday jazz evenings.Kieran, who has worked at the world famous Wentworth Golf Club and with the Savoy Group and Hilton hotels, said: "We will concentrate on seafood and steak cooked simply - just the way it should be. It is difficult not to get excited with all this exceptional fresh produce right on the doorstep."Regular Friday night jazz will kick off on Friday, October 31, with the James Shipway Trio. Guests will be able to indulge in Lyme Bay lobster or Exmoor steak while listening to some of the finest jazz around. "It's about as good as it gets - great seafood, great jazz and great steak, the perfect way to unwind after a busy week," says Nick Hunt, of The Point Bar & Grill. It is recommended guests book a table for the Friday jazz. The Point Bar & Grill is open from early to late everyday and has seating for up to 60 dinner guests.
