A new floral display at Exmouth Hospital has been installed to ‘enhance’ the area for patients, their families and staff.

The League of Friends of Exmouth Hospital has provided the flowers in the garden area outside the Doris Heard Ward and its day room.
The display – including five-tier planters, three barrier baskets and five wall baskets - will be a permanent feature throughout the year and is funded by the league of friends.
Chairman, David Bassett, said: “We wanted to enhance this area for some time to improve the environment both for the patients and staff through the visual impact of flowers.
“We are very pleased with the results and have already received some very favourable comments.”

The League of Friends of Exmouth Hospital has also recently launched a new website www.ehlof.org.
David Bassett added: “We wanted to provide a website that not only would enable us to raise the profile of the league of friends but also the valuable services the hospital provides to our community.”
