A NEW chairman of an organisation backing the interests of East Devon businesses has been elected.

Greg Page-Turner, of Commission a Portrait, was elected chairman of the Federation of Small businesses East Devon branch.

He takes over from Phil Lee of Install Technologies who held office last year.

Jamie Love of Love's Furniture Restoration continues as vice chairman and John Huffer of Horseshoe Taxis is secretary.

Greg said: "I am looking forward to 2010, as chairman of the FSB East Devon branch, having returned to the area from London after 25 years absence

I am keen to reinstate monthly FSB meetings in East Devon and would welcome ideas from members and non members on how these meetings could be of use to the local Business Community.

Anyone who is interested please email: greg@woodhayes.co.uk with your contact details.

East Devon is the largest FSB branch in the southwest and has the highest number of small businesses operating from home.
