A kitchen supplier has become the latest business to open its doors at Liverton 2 business park.

The Exmouth branch of Howdens Joinery, which sells kitchens and joinery products directly to tradespeople, has opened at the site, creating four new jobs.

The first day of trading was marked by a visit from Lord Clinton, whose Clinton Devon Estates is the developer behind Liverton 2, off Salterton Road.

Howdens branch manager Karen Howard said: “It’s an ideal location. Ease of access was very important for us, and, as this site lies between Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton, it will help us reach the customers we are looking for in the area.

“As this is a new-build, we have also been able to have the internal structure designed to meet our specific needs.”

Clinton Devon Estates’ Leigh Rix said: “This move by Howdens is another vote of confidence in Liverton 2 as the estate grows to meet the needs of businesses and their customers.”
