East Budleigh residents Simon Levi and his wife, Rebecca, are first time co-authors who have completed their first book called South America For Starters.

Simon said: “The book tells of a real life true love adventure when we explored South America as part of an epic year-long journey back in the day before iPhones were invented.
”It's a bit of a whimsical travelogue where we explore the cultures, cuisines and experiences as we travel through Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Peru. We meet a number of fascinating characters along the way and have the odd scary moment. Plenty of humour in there as well. Our experiences cover cities, remote mountain communities with much of it in the wilds of the Andes.
“Rebecca and I moved to Devon shortly after returning from this adventure and have now lived near Sidmouth for 20 years where we have raised our family.”

The book, which is inspired by and dedicated to a long time Sidmouth resident, Hilary Levi, has been launched through Olimpia Publishers and is in stock at Paragon Books and Winstone's in Sidmouth and is available through major online retailers.
