A Topsham business is celebrating after Harrods agreed to stock its products at the upmarket department store in Knightsbridge.

Naturalmat, which has been making mattresses and bedding from organic and natural materials since 2000, will see six of its products available in the store.

The business was founded by sailors Mark Tremlett and Peter Tindall.

Owner Mr Tremlett said it was a ‘proud’ day for his business.

He said: “We are incredibly proud to display our beds and mattresses in Harrods.

“To have our products stocked by a store so renowned for sourcing the best in the world is a real honour.

“It’s a testament to how far the business has come since we started it almost 14 years ago.”

Stewart Mancey, head of furniture at Harrods, praised the business.
