It is obvious that the proposed structure for The Strand is vigorously opposed by all concerned.
A further cafe is redundant; the new area requires a building suitable for rest and quiet reflection. It should remind visitors that they are in Devon, of native materials, perhaps cob walls and a thatched roof.
