A new homes development in Budleigh Salterton has been shortlisted for a prestigious national property award.

The Horizon development, at Greenway Lane, was nominated for best partnership scheme in the national WhatHouse? Awards.

Lynn Worley, sales manager for Cavanna Homes, said: “Ever since construction work began at the end of 2013, Horizon has attracted a great deal of interest from day one. Eighteen months after the first property was sold, only one home remains for sale.”

Leigh Rix, head of property and land at Clinton Devon Estates, said: “We are very pleased to have been nominated for this prestigious award alongside our partners Cavanna Homes and Cornerstone housing, who are providing a range of affordable housing for local families.”

The What House? Awards will be held on November 20 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.

Horizon is located just a mile from the town centre and features 48 new homes, built around a community allotment scheme and giving views over the countryside of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
