Exeter Library promises to get all your senses going in a variety of musical mouth watering treats.

Starting on Saturday, November 1, a series of lunchtime concerts is being held in the Music Room of Exeter central library.

Visitors can expect classical, jazz and dance tunes all accompanied by a tasty lunchtime buffet.

The first of the performances for five to 11 year olds is dubbed 'Elephants and Edibles' and promises to introduce children to a range of instruments they never knew existed. Doors open at 11am and 'Alan Boxer and Co.' will be performing for an hour. Tickets are £2 in advance or £3 on the day.

The rhythm picks up on Thursday, November 6, for 'Dances and Doughnuts' where the Beare Trio will be upping the tempo with a jig, a minuet and a waltz or two

The tasty music continues with 'Bach and Buns' on Monday, November 10 for some classical guitar and cello with David Cottam and Hilary Boxer

Finally, it's 'Funky Jazz and Flapjacks' on Saturday, November 15 where the talents of Bruce Izzett, Tom Hawkesworth and Tim Boxer will be getting the crowd going with new mixes and old favourites

The three concerts above are between 12.45 and 1.45. Tickets are £3 on the door, £2.50 in advance or £6 for all three.

Tickets for all events are available from Clare Greenall on (01392) 384217.
