Mum-of-five death, man charged

A 53-year-old Exmouth man has been charged in connection with the death Withycombe mum-of-five Susan Dare, 43, who died in July.

A 53-year-old Exmouth man has been charged in connection with the death Withycombe mum-of-five Susan Dare, 43, who died in July.

She had been walking home with friends after a night out in Littleham.

The police said Kevin Stagg will appear before Exeter magistrates on January 6 2009 accused of causing death by dangerous driving, driving with excess alcohol and failing to stop after an accident.

Scores of floral tributes were left in the car park of the Clinton Arms at the spot where Mrs Dare, known by her friends as 'Scooby' was found.
