I would like to thank everyone who helped with this year's Poppy Appeal in Budleigh Salterton. A special thank you to Tom Cavanagh, who once again let us use his shop as poppy HQ and provided much-needed coffee, and Mike, from Threshers, who has provided storage for the appeal. A lot of hard work goes into the Poppy Appeal, but the end result is always worth it. The Remembrance Service at the memorial was very moving and over 30 wreaths and crosses were laid this year.So far over £7,000 has been raised, with money still coming in. Anyone who would still like to make a donation can hand it into the Card Shop Too addressed to '2008 Poppy Appeal'.Once again, many thanks to everyone.
