MEMBERS of the public get the chance to quiz the chief executive of the ambulance service later this month.The July board meeting for the South Western Ambulance Service will be held at 1.30pm, on Thursday, July 24, at the Trust Headquarters, Abbey Court, Eagle Way, Exeter.Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting and ask questions; but the questions need to be posted in advance. Ken Wenman, the chief executive of South Western Ambulance Service, is pleased with the increasing numbers of those attending and said: "I am delighted to see that increasing numbers of people are attending the board meetings. "It is extremely encouraging to know that individuals are interested in helping us to shape a patient-led service, whilst learning more about their local ambulance trust and the optimum levels of patient care we aim to provide.
