Missing Exmouth man update - coastguards, helicopter and Dartmoor Rescue join police search

POLICE searching for a 37-year-old Exmouth man are so concerned for his welfare they have enlisted the help of Exmouth coastguards, the helicopter from Portland, and a Dartmoor Rescue search team to look for the missing man.

POLICE searching for a 37-year-old Exmouth man are so concerned for his welfare they have enlisted the help of Exmouth coastguards, the helicopter from Portland, and a Dartmoor Rescue search team to look for the missing man.

Searches are currently taking place for missing Darren Healey on Woodbury Common, near the St John's Road turning.

The missing man is vulnerable because of his mental state, the police said.

Police became concerned for his welfare and fears were raised for his safety at 5am today.

Darren has short dark brown hair, is 6ft 1ins tall, around 12 stone and usually wears jeans and a t-shirt or hoody.

Anyone with information about him, or might have seen him, is asked to call the police on 08452 777444.
