‘Minor injuries’ after car overturns near Woodbury

Emergency services were called out overnight to an overturned car near Woodbury.

Ambulance crews were called to the incident, involving a red Renault Clio, on the B3180 near the junction with Sanctuary Lane, at 1.13am.

Police, and fire crews from Exmouth and Middlemoor, also attended the incident.

Ambulance personnel assisted the male occupant from the vehicle.

A South Western Ambulance Service spokesman said the man was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with minor injuries.

Fire crews made the vehicle safe.
