TAUNTON Races on Thursday afternoon (February 10), is dedicated to a very special military unit.
All six races on the card are being dedicated to the Royal Marines of 40 Commando who completed a tour of Afghanistan at the end of last year.
Each race is being named after one of the five Company units from the units base at Norton Manor camp, Taunton with the other race being dedicated to an aspect of life to do with 40 Commando.
You can call the race course on (01823) 337172 or visit the course website at www.tauntonracecourse.co.uk
