Matt Round, a freelance photographer from Exmouth, is hoping to raise £6,000 to create a new town centre photo studio

An Exmouth photographer has launched a crowdfunding bid to create his own town centre studio.

Matt Round, who often contributes photographs to The Journal, is hoping to raise £6,000 through contributions to get his new venture up and running.

The freelance photographer has been working in the region for five years and is looking to grow his portrait picture business.

Matt is looking to set up in a town centre location and needs the funds to realise this dream.

If successful, the £6,000 would help get the studio up and running as well as paying for any building and decorating work.

It is hoped that the cash injection will help Matt create a ‘friendly and welcoming’ space for family photo shoots.

People can donate through an Indiegogo page where there a set of tiered rewards depending on how much is donated.

The perks available range from a 15-minute mini session for £10 up to a full day’s picture shoot for £500.
